Bridal Portraits
Peighton and Ben's wedding brought me back to the Logan Utah Temple, where I shot my first wedding all the way back in 2016! We talked about a few different possible locations for their bridal portraits, but ultimately decided we could do them right on the temple grounds a few weeks before the wedding day. Despite being in March, it was so cold and windy, but they were such good sports about it!
Wedding Day
A few weeks later it was finally time for the big day! The Logan Utah Temple has probably my favorite "temple exit" area, with a pretty little pathway and arched door! There was a high chance of stormy weather, but we lucked out and got plenty of sunshine!
Reception
Later we headed over to the church for the reception! Nothing makes me happier than seeing my photos printed and displayed, and Peighton and Ben had a HUGE framed photo from their bridals on display at their entry table, I think the biggest I've ever seen!
The dinner was packed with happy family and friends, they made getting plenty of happy candid shots an easy job! After some parent and sibling speeches, Peighton and Ben cut their cake (which they made and decorated themselves!) and served pie to their guests in honor of their wedding being on Pi Day! I love the trend of couples serving their guests, it gives them a chance to chat with each person!
After dessert, we finished out the night with the Mother-Son and Father-Daughter dance, and of course the couples first dance! They opened the dancefloor for everyone else to join in, and finally everyone headed outside to get ready for the sparkler sendoff. The snow falling was so beautiful, like confetti!
